How we collect competitor prices

Sources

Official-store prices come from the CheapShark public API and Steam's own store API (German storefront, EUR). Keyshop reference prices are the current market low reported by GG.deals, refreshed on every scan.

Freshness

Automated scans run every six hours, and every price we display carries the timestamp of its most recent observation. Keyshop comparisons older than seven days are never shown.

Currency

Non-EUR observations are normalized to EUR at the daily European Central Bank reference rate; the original price and currency are preserved.

Like-for-like

We only compare identical offers: the same game, edition, platform and activation region.
